Default WotLK: Cinematic Intro released

It's out now, just released today in the Leipzig Games Convention.
What can I say, little different than I'd expected but in a good way. Top-notch quality once again (the people doing those CGI's are truly talented) and brings back sweet memories from the Frozen Throne.

Here are some links to download hi-res avi version:

I would have liked some more "story" in the movie, but the CGI guys in Blizzard are exceptional.

That would be so much cooler if the actual game didn't look like quite so much shit.

Well the movie just shows Arthas and undead chilling in Northrend. I'd have liked to see the cinematic tell Arthas' story from the end of wc3 to the beginning of WotLK - basically what exactly has he been doing while horde and alliance rebuild all these years and stomp his minions and lieutenants.

I think the lore in the Warcraft universe died after Burning Crusade came out. I'm looking forward to the DK class, they tank without shields! In fact, I don't think they can even use shields.

Downloading it now.

Died? No.

Most of the people who take arms against most of the TBC lore changes are dumb really. So many people were up in arms about the spaceship, yet spaceships existed in WC before, it's how the Draenei separated from their demonic type on Argus and flew to Draenor. Spaceships are no big deal, a lot of the characters killed would die anyways...Blizzard is setting itself up for its grand finale, and then usher in a new age of lore. I'm completely expecting WoW to have the players take care of some of the last biggest threats in Azeroth, namely the Lich King, the Naga in the eye, and probably at the end of its life, yes even Sargeras. Mind you, we'll probably just hold him off like Kil'Jaeden, but after removing most of the threats, it sets the stage for WarCraft 4, which will show the newer threats. Basically use WoW to wrap up all the loose ends of the lore from WC1-3, and reinvent it for WC4, ya dig?

Well it wasn't so much the Draenei, it's just a combination of things that didn't feel right for me, but maybe it's just me.

I thought Sargeras was dead (mostly) and part of his soul was floating through space looking for a body strong enough to possess? After we kill him (if he's even able to revive) and whatever else there is that I'm not thinking of... What would happen then? Who else could come after that? I'm not attempting to spark an argument but I'm honestly curious who we could fight after Sargeras/KJ, Arthas, and the Naga? It baffles me! Unless they plan on doing something with the world dragons and the portals they guard.

Thats why i said Sargeras at the end of its life cycle, so theres nothing after.

Also Sargeras is wandering throughout the Twisting Nether, yes. I wouldn't be surprised if what pans out is we weaken the Lich King a shit ton and while he is weak Sargeras possesses him, tbh. Or he could always find one of the many other Old Gods or something.

I would put money down that a Sargeras encounter will happen eventually. Whenever Legendaries become the norm (ie: everyone has a legendary in every slot or something) and Artifacts become the "next big thing", it'll happen, imo.

It'd be the ultimate fight, given all of Sargeras' abilitys....
